What actually drives the cost
Six things we will ask about on the first call — and which determine the quote.
Number and type of points
How many quantities we measure and with what: strain µε, deflection mm, tilt mrad, pore pressure kPa, temperature. Vibrating wire sensors cost differently than accelerometers.
Reading cadence
The default is a reading every 15 minutes; more frequent readings can be configured. Dynamic measurements — full vibration waveforms — generate a data volume many times larger and require different hardware.
Mounting and site access
Working at height, in an excavation, under live traffic or with restricted access changes the installation cost more than the sensor itself.
What you already have on site
Connecting working sensors and data loggers is cheaper than a new installation. We verify this during the audit — sometimes it is enough to change the way data is collected.
Servicing and SLA
The scope of care: inspections and calibrations, response time, team availability. A critical structure requires a different regime than a construction site running for two seasons.
Configuration and training
Calculation equations, warning and alarm thresholds, dashboards, the list of people to notify, training for the maintenance team.
The platform itself is billed annually. Sensors, installation and calibration are quoted separately, after the site audit.
