Monitoring of buildings
Two scenarios, one tool. A building next to a deep excavation that starts to settle and crack — or a warehouse whose roof collects snow faster than anyone can keep track of. Inclify measures settlement, tilt, cracks and strain continuously and raises the alarm before the problem turns into damage.
A building next to an excavation — data instead of guesswork
A deep excavation, sheet piling, dewatering — neighbouring buildings respond with settlement, tilt and cracks. When a dispute arises, the winner is whoever holds dated measurements and a reference reading taken before the works began.
- Settlement in mm and tilt in mrad — measured continuously, not once a week by a surveyor
- Opening of existing cracks under constant supervision — you can see whether the works are widening them or whether they are stable
- A baseline reading before the contractor moves in — a reference point for every party involved
- Audit trail and project log — evidence in a dispute with neighbours, the contractor or the supervising authority
- Warning and alarm thresholds with SMS alerts — works can be stopped before damage occurs
High-rises and warehouses — the alarm comes before the roof reaches a critical state
In buildings that are in service, the biggest risks either build up slowly or arrive with the weather. The classic example: snow on the roof of a large-span warehouse — strain sensors on the girders show the real load on the structure, and the alarm arrives before the roof gets anywhere near a critical state.
- Warehouses: strain in the roof girders in µε — the decision to clear the snow is based on a measurement, not on an eyeball estimate
- High-rises and tall buildings: tilt in mrad and the behaviour of the structure under wind and temperature changes in °C
- Warning and alarm thresholds plus no-data supervision — silence from a sensor is an event too
- Vibrating wire sensors with 20+ years of stability — a system for the whole life of the structure, not for a single season
Every measurement in a single panel
Readings taken every 15 minutes by default, or more often reach the Inclify platform, where calculation equations evaluate them against the baseline reading. The owner, the facility manager and the inspector look at the same data — in real time.
- Real-time SMS, e-mail and push alerts to the people responsible for the building
- Integration with existing data loggers over REST, CSV or FTP — without replacing the hardware
- CSV/XLSX exports for expert opinions, documentation and your own analyses
- A full audit trail — every threshold change and every alarm acknowledgement signed and dated
Let's talk about your building
